crikey. original ones are chambered so not straight through = more heat to the outside metal usually.. if its angled away from the car then you may be ok. but the holes are angled towards underneath of body or brake lines etc best to get it done soon

Wallet says I gotta go milners way. I phoned today and they are delivering tomorrow . They did phone back to say I should go for a filter kit which would save a couple of bucks on the air filter and I will get a few spare oil filters as they are a 3rd the price of All Parts. Gotta busy weekend doing exhaust changing coolant and oil filter.

It does pick up quicker. It runs like it did when I ran straight diesel, but I'm running 50l veg to 10l of derv, which decreases power. It has more mid range and accelerates better though.
I'll adjust the fuel pump, that will help as it made a massive difference when I did it previously.
One day I'll fit the intercooler that's in my shed.
Yep 3", that pipe finishes it off nicely.
I'm well pleased with it. A standard system would have cost me £310 + delivery from Roughtrax.

when i was running at 12-13 psi mine used to get to 40ish quite quickly, then after that the next 20mph increase would take just a little longer than it took from 0-40.
im running about 9 psi with 4 washers each side. when its cold, or raining i get 10psi, when the revs get to about 4000ish the boost backs off to 8.
im running 40 litre veg with 5 litre diesel right now, and power is cr@p. seems like there is more turbo lag when normal driving.
but i blame this on the engine warming up the intercooler and making me lose power that way.
once i have the things i need sorted, i will be placing water sprays over the intercooler to sort this out. cos when going up hills or going slow off road sometimes its really noticable the lag you get.
when i get time ill be sticking a couple more washers in. its just hard to get them to stay in place while you put the bolts backOh Nana, what's my name?
