Had a call from the owners of the house we are purchasing to say there was a beech tree down on the drive. Was asked to go and turn it into firewood for the winter.
So off I set with a chainsaw, a log splitter and a pal. 5 hours later we were only a fifth through it. My hands are covered in blisters and this morning I can feel every muscle in my body....... boy was it satisfying work though!
I've gone soft as a house husband!
