i was just going through researching cummins diesels (done detroit already ) and i was looking through their subsidiary cummins turbos (mainly for big diesels 5.9 straight 6 and above... 10.8 litre double decker busses and trains etc.
i got to the page that is about fault diagnosis and has some pictures of what happens to your turbo when you dont let it tick over for a little while before switching it off. interesting read.
