front mounted will give turbo lag coz of the lenght of pipe required, but still better than no intercooler, check with others but i belive a top mount will only fit with a body lift so a front one would be the only choice if no body lift.

i notice that seller doesnt say anything about the pipe work as that would cost an extra 100 to 200 quid!!!!!!!!

i have no body lift and a top mount intercooler. although it sits on the passenger side.
with 2.25" pipe i would expect a lot of lag, and its not like we run high boost, do a lot of motorway driving or high speed. front mount might be better as it might be away from radiated heat, but i would expect to knock the size of tube down to keep pressure up. for off road you want torque not HP
