Do Homebase or Focus do such a thing?

I just want to knock something up quick tomorrow to protect my rad from stones until my new bashplate arrives.

Not sure the stuff you get in the DIY places is substantial enough though,

I got a bit of thin steel plate, with lots of holes in it. Can post it up to you if you don't mind the wait? Will post a pic up later on if you're interested

Glad you hate to suggest it!

It's only for a week or two until my new stainless bashplate arrives so I dont want to spend much. It's just to stop stones belting the rad. I could, I suppose, have a look in Halfrauds.

if you hit a tree hugger hard enough then perhaps they'll get lodged underneath and protect the rad for a while
