winch bracket

i need to make up a plate and bracket for my new winch , not sure but will 10mil plate do the job or is that overkill ( the winch is big ).

it might be a bit of an overkill but at least it wont bend.go for it.

it is a wopper .
i will wip the bumper of at the weekend and make up some card templates and see if i can sort the same for the front bumper and do it all ..

i was thinking of a dismountable bracket , but i would need a winch to lift it .

supersurf as done hes winch bumper so it pivots you might be able to sort something like that got the same type of winch waiting for 4x4rus to make bumpers

mines sittng in the front room at the moment got to take it back out to shed [boy its heavy lol]
took mine apart the other day to see if its sealed [its not]undid the two bolts at end broke one putting it back [richard 11 ] so be carefull if you decide to check , easily sorted with some threaded rod , gonna get some clear sealant that should waterproof it

how long did the winch take to arrive from Germany?

been watching them for a few weeks now but was a bit dubious due to there locaton.

how much did the postage turn out to be?

hi scotty only took a few days ( ups ) but had a job paying as he wanted bank transfare and i wanted paypal and all in german but sorted now , i think post was 60euros ( i just kept asking for his paypal and got it but with a charge ( 7% ) .

scotty i won mine for £160 all in so how bad could it be.
plus some bloke i think manchester way is selling them on ebay ( buy it now ) for £280 ish.
so an email cost nothing ..
