Hi all as most we know by now as of the 1st July we can use up to 2500L of veg oil with out the need to register or pay duty. Now I've been talking to a local cash and carry about getting bulk oil from them, they seem to be quoting £9.79 for KTC oil boxed (cheeper than macro) this is a price baised on single purchase's. Now what I need to know is who wants to buy and how much per month ? I would be looking at about 100L per month wich is not that big an order for them but if we could increase this them we might get an even cheeper price. So lets have you orders please and I can see what I can do. Cheers John

Is that £9.79 for 20 Litres? with or without VAT? and whereabouts is the cash and carry?

Tesco extra down here sells the ktc oil for £8.40 something for 15l

The normal tesco does the ordinary 3l bottles but Tesco Extra sell 15l drums.I will have to go down the garage and have a look to see what it is.My surf runs ok on it tho and its a foriegn oil aswell but will let you know in a bit what it is

Ahhh... there is Ktc veg oil £5.30 for 10L in a cardboard box , must be the same stuff then

yea thats the one.If they do it in the box then ask if they do it in the 15l drums cause i was told by the normal tesco that the tesco extra could order it in if they dont sell it but your tesco might still do it if you ask

thought the ktc oil was soya although did run my truck on it and it was fine it ,came in metal drum or flimsy plastic container in carboard box

i'll double check but i'm sure it said pure veg oil.Its in a red and creamy coloured drum

might be different then rich as the stuff i got was in silver drum [makro]
also it was oil coloured and very slippery

Might be then,Surferjess told me about the stuff in Tesco just before xmas and got me a couple of drums for Salisbury,then i found out they sold it down here

no vat on veg oil and its booker at eastleigh
