Dana (Marketing Director for Pipex & girlfriend - in that order) organised a charity golf event this weekend at Stoke Park, and other than a bunch of celeb golfers had booked the Sugerbabes for a set for the dinner/party after the golf...
BUT - disaster struck, after their requirements and requests started to get more ridiculous and they were asking for sound engineers to do all the checks, special booths set up, earpieces for checking the sound (they didn't want to be involved in the sound check) lots of other demands...and just before the start, one of them collapsed!
So they had spent a while getting on peoples nerves and becoming real divas too - so not a great deal of sympathy was available.....so at the last minute Dana needed plan B....enter Craig David!
He was called by a manager/agent guy who was at the party, and 1.5 hrs later he turned up, did a set with just him and a guitarist, was superb, a true professional, an absolute gentleman and went down a storm....what a guy.
So well done to him for stepping in and being a real ambassador for music...

I wasn't invited (as usual) but it sounded like a nice day....
