  • ISS and Shuttle

Saw both tonight, about 20 mins apart. The shuttle was noticeably faster, going like the proverbial bat out of hell!

Its amazing to think that bright light that just passed over is the same thing I saw on the pad a few weeks back at Canaveral, and those guys I watched strapping in last night are the guys up there bollocking along through space!

I wonder if it will look different when they are docked.

Hehe, you wouldn't be human if you weren't at least thinking it!

20:38 Sunday is docking time. NASA TV might be worth watching. 11:03PM tomorrow night is shuttle and ISS docked coming over from west to east.

They dock at 3.38am US time, so when we next see them at 11.03 pm Sunday they will be together, that's if I'm not sleeping off the Sunday beer.
