Does your sat nav have an av output. if so then you could link it to a larger screen but would still have to control it from the original unit. Not sure if tomtoms do.

hi jon!! no mate i dont think it has, just a small usb socket wether theres a pair for remote screen i dont no, could do with a schematic .

I'd say almost definitely not.

Data to drive moving-map type software on a laptop may be available, but there wont be composite video available.

you could try a PDA - projector adapter in the USB slot, but i doubt it'd work without drivers + you gotta find one. I know they're about but i just can't find one for my PDA
