I run 36 - 38 in my 31 X 10.5 X 15. Best way to figure out correct pressure is by the 4PSI rule. Some say 6 for 4WD tyres. Lower pressure for a more comfortable ride, higher pressure better tyre life. Manufacturers state lower pressure for comfort reasons and don't care if the tyres wear out quicker.
