  • Leaf Springs

    Hello

Does anyone have any advise about leaf springs please?

Mine are almost flat when unloaded and my back end is lower than my front.

I see Milner and RoughTrax (Plus OMU) sell them, any recommendations please.

My Hilux aready has Pro comp 9000's all round.

I got Pro Comp 3" lift springs front and back , but they are very hard . After fitting my Runner went up by 5" at front and 6" at rear .Need more flex in them .Sumo fitted some from Roughtracks and said they are good and have not yet sagged .
Mine came from Stuart at Geared to Go . Mention forum for discount .

The cheapest option is to replace the shackles with longer ones or add-a-leaf to the existing spring. Beware of heavy duty lift springs as these are meant for carrying/towing weights and will be too hard when empty or for off-roading.

The Hard ride is what I'm worried about, its hard enough as it is when empty, I want a soft ride

You need a set of Parabilic springs, they are whats used on a lot of large vans now, also a lot of LR ownwers are going over to them for the softer ride and greater articulation when off road.

They are not cheap, but very good, they only have two/three leaves but are "springyer"
