  • Uh-oh!!!

Just been under the truck to measure up for the exhaust mods, but found something more pressing.

I think as a temporary fix I'll remove the drop bracket and use the original mounting point and get it welded up this week.

However, I'd suggest that if you have this mod, it may be worth getting the drop bracket welded into place as it will spread the load much better than the twin bolt arrangement.

Is the body gonna slide off if I remove that bolt?

Do you do an exchange rod? ie. can you send a modded one out and I send my unmodded one by return?

            Tis quite sexy...

As per the PM, I've just been doing a bit of trig and reckon that for a 4" lift, and using the standard bar, you only offset the body to the left by 0.22". I guess if you've taken off your ARB, then at big sus extensions, it will be more pronounced, but I reckon it's get-away-with-able in most situations.

My mate's gonna weld the original bracket up this Friday so I'll do it and see what it looks like.

Anyone want to do a sanity check on my logic just to make sure I'm not making a right royal screw up?
