Gents, when it shows test level hot or cold, do you do this with the engine running?

check with engine running - but just before you check - put handbrake / footbrake on and select all gears one at a time for few seconds. - this makes sure all the wee valves and bits inside the auto box are full of oil and then allows a true level check.

If you ever changbe the fluid level measure what you take out and replace with same amount rather that going by the book.
