The new tyres and shocks did the trick on the vibrating and the engine's running so much better. It was almost silent on the motorway home and I reckon the MPGs gone up too. So thanks for another job well done. I will be keeping battery acid away from synthetic fibre bodywarmers in future though......
The only thing is, I'm thinking the mysterious brown bag in the back (a kite maybe???) isn't in place of the more orthodox complimentary champagne and you'll be wanting it back. Should be sort of passing (ish) next Friday or Sunday night if you're around.......
