Worth trying Aoshima Surf as well as most of the models are made in Japan and are of Surfs. I think there are around 10 different 2nd gen Surfs models (1/24 scale) made by Aoshima and they come up reasonably regularly on ebay

On the subject of models, do any of you collect/make 1/24th yank trucks? my last surviveing one is looking for a good home, made it when i was in my early twentys so it's about 40 years old, it's a Diamond Rio tractor with a low loader and caterpillar dozer on the back, or swop some one for a surf model!!
