  • Tyre prices, UK vs US

Why on earth do we get ripped off so much compared to our US neighbours?! Looking on the web, BFG ATs are about £65 over there and £95 here! It's a right royal pain in the arse!

Economics. There's 250 million of them and only 60 million of us, supply and demand means they get it cheaper.

On the plus side we don't have quite so many stupid people

it's because of the exchange rate!
the minimum wage there is around $7 (£3.50) depending on state

            so to them it's expensive!
it's all good for imports, but not so good for export business!
(and remember you'll have to pay tax on top!)
nee nar nee nar, i'm a fire engine!

Well in real terms, actual volume of pillocks, I agree.

But proportionally, I'd say we're equal...
