  • Haynes??

    Hi folks,

Just had an email back from Haynes saying they don't do the surf manuals or any imported car for that matter. I stupidly didn't ask for the 4 runner Haynes!
Does anyone know of a better one than Haynes manuals for the 3.0.ltr 93 surf?

Trouble is that dosn't cover any 3.0 stuff, its OK for the rest of the truck, I'd get this (but you can a better Haynes manual for the US 4Runner for the drivetrain/body stuff) and then get Roughtrax's Toyota Engine manual for the 1KZ/T.

Just noticed that too. Well for £11 it's worth having around just for reading. Tony did you get any coil spacers?

They are still on thier way. I ordered 4 sets, and now need some more!!

I have all the Max Ellery books (the LC Prado book have 1KT/TE stuff in it), Haynes and Chiltern books, along with a few Genuine Toyota manuals. Between them you can find most things.

The Max Ellery books are good, and a little more 'back yard DIY' based than the Haynes, but terribly indexed, you can never find the page you want easily again.

My engine is sweet. Need manual for CV boot removal and replacement. I'm worried I may put it back together with parts left over!
