Tracks and routes around North Wales

I live in Colwyn Bay (North Wales) and have recently bought a 2.4 td 2nd gen SSR-X limited. I've been looking for tracks and routes around my area and so far have only found one on the outskirts of Penmaenmawr which isn't that great, and a brilliant unused quarry on the horse shoe pass near Llangollen.

Does anyone know of more that are closer to my location??!!

You need to register but a wealth of lanes. Remember to keep it legal or the police have the power to seize your truck, and it would give us all a bad name.

try around the backs of Betws yn Rhos, theres a few around there.

If you subscribe to Total Off Road, there is one of the most famous North Wales lanes in there, The Wayfarer - great 8.2 mile lane, but (and I don't want to sound like I'm teaching you to suck eggs here) make sure you go with someone else - or at least are VERY well equipped to get yourself out of trouble if you find some - most phone networks don't work along most lanes..
