It's booked in to a garage down here to be sorted next thursday so shouldn't be a problem, fingers crossed! It's just worrying that it's a bit close to my holiday for comfort. If it doesn't get sorted out i'll be tempted to get it to a driveable state then pay 4x4 r us to do it and get it MOT'd for me up there.

This is hard i cannot decide which one i like.....the tubular or this one

i've told the bloke from shadow its probably not worth his time to look further into this, as the market looks to be very very limited. so the tubular one wont be made.

im still looking at one for myself though..

once they have the patterns made up they just make the bumpers to order i think, they may keep one in stock or something and replace it when it get's sold or something i don't know. Gotta email them tomorrow just to confirm it's passed the MOT so will ask then.

My old girl passed her annual health check, and the bumper's definately going ahead

As I had thought once they have a pattern they make them to order, so once you got the money get in touch with them. Haven't got a price off them for the finished product yet but i will pass on more details as soon as i know them. Is there anything specific that people would like on it? other than a couple of solid recovery points and somewhere to mount a winch. It will also need indicators as the post facelift models only front indicators are in the bumper aren't they? Possibly jacking points for a high lift jack if they can do that aswell i guess, unless there's anything else?

Well, I'm back. The bumper's not quite finished yet, so they have taken it off to finish so i could get home from warwick today and are just doing the final fettling and finishing touches.

I saw it fitted to the truck at the beginning of the week and it was looking pretty damn smart even as a work in progress. I saw it on the workshop floor today, it looked fairly similar to the disco one on page 1 of this thread, but it's difficult to picture it from the floor onto the truck. As soon as i have more pics and information i'll let y'all know.

Yeah, he said you'd spoken to them. Didn't give much indication of a timescale. He's gonna let me know when it's done and then sort out getting it on me truck so it can be photographed and advertised and what have you. They seemed keen to have it finished soon and i'm possibly picking it up at the Billing LR show in July. So i got the impression it was gonna be done by then.

if not, do i ask for a surf train or would it get 'lost' on the way????
