Now you've done that, can you answer the following question?

Advert says for '89-'90 surf. They do look the same shape as on my '94 but, are they the same and will they fit Surfin' Sue or not?

if I remember rightly the early pre-facelift 2nd gens (89-91) and the later facelifted 2nd gen (91-95) had different indicators. I know the headlights are different, I think the indicators might be aswell. have a look on www.powerfuluk.co.uk or roughtrax, i'm sure it's one of them I read it on if it wasn't here.

Your right mate, The prefacelift (89-90) indicators sat in the bumper and i think have curved edges on all 4 corners of the indicator

The face lift models (90-95) have indicators sat under the bumper and have one curved edge and a bit that points out a little bit to fit the valance.

So you cant cross them over. I would guess the only parts that you can swap with a 89-90 is rear clusters etc. Same goes for 3rd gen, no light on that matches 2nd of any year
