fuse box?

can anyone help me, i have hilux surf 1987 model, the tail lights and dash light stopped working. i can't find the fuse (is there one?) i found the fuse box in the engine bay but it does not have tail or dash fuse in it. is there another fuse box i can't find, if so were the hell is it?
