Hey Vince, that bonnet thingy looks awesome, did you paint it yourself? and how much you want for the intercooler, doing my 2" body lift today to accomodate one so the parts need sourcing right about now.
PS. notice i'm the only one who offered reddies for it. hehe.....http://www.apspropertyfix.co.uk/

If you're after a nice small intercooler go to a s$$$$yard and pick up an astra Tdi intercooler (or at least that's what i been told mine is), it's a small front mount jobby attached to the side of the radiator, but i reckon you could fit it as a direct replacement (with a bit of pipework fiddling) for the turbo to intake manifold tube, the silver one with the EFI casting on it i'll chuck up a pic when i manage to separate the $$$$$$ thing from the astra rad.=========
=SOLD UP!=

Yep, Filler primer, two coats of the lovely burgundy, two coats of two pack clear with burgundy added, then another fours coats of two pack clear.
all wet sanded between coats, the top coat needs to harden off for a couple of days then it's more wet sanding then buffing with cutting compound and mop for a Chip Foose type glass finish.

2. Get yourself some piping to suit intercooler.
3. Fit intercooler and piping to Surf.
Et voila, you got yourself an intercooled Surf.http://www.apspropertyfix.co.uk/

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.Intercoolers... ...That mean more power from the old 2.4? O.K. anyone able to point to a D.I.Y fixing thread for D.I.Y idiots and able to suggest a suitable donor heap to acquire one from. Also would it make life for the old girl a little easier when dragging the caravan around. Come on Vince, I have faith.
