    crankshaft pully puller

    want to change the timing belt . do i need a puller to get the pully off
    also is there any difficulties in replacing the belt thanks iain

      No need to remove the starter like the aus guy did to lock the engine, just drill out a longish bar to suit two of the holes in the pully that hold the outer pullys, bolt it on and jam it against the chassi, undoin the bolt is another matter, have a long bar handy, i cut down a spanner and did it that way,
      bl00dy tight, the pully however just tapped off with a rubber mallet,

        Normally, use a proper hub puller that bolts to the pulley, and the big bolt in the middle presses on the crank to pull the pulley off.
