There isn't one anymore, it didn't work, everyone brought that, (as you would!) but then cash dosn't come trickling in yearly after that to cover the cost of hosting the site.

People who got an original lifetime membership keep it, its only fair, and never have to pay again (unless they want to) But from then on its been yearly only. Its the only way it'll work.

Its a donation , the board works fine if you don't join, but if you want to expand your surfing enjoyment and have a few extras, its a small price to pay. Not forgetting the best bit, a funky blue star under your name!

No complaints her Tony I was just wondering what the star was for.

I think it's a wonderful place to come and visit and I'm sure I'll be continuing for as long as a long thing that gets very long.

Is a contributor someone who is on the admin team, someone who is an unlimited font of all knowledge in Surf land, or someone who makes the tea and provides the cakes?

I like to think of myself as someone who drops in now and then for the crack and to find out whats gone wrong with me $$$$$$ truck and where to hit it next time with the hammer

Oh and most important to feel part of a group of like minded folk who can get away from the day to day trials and tribulations life throws at us now an then.

I couldn't care less if I had a blue star or a green spot an intermediate or an old fart I'm more like me truck intermitent mate

agreed. but cash is a bit tight as usual right now. i do need a sticker though. key ring would be good though. may be i could do a little research and get usb memory flash drive key rings with hilux surf forum logo on
