Some 3.0 ltr heads have been cracking but not as many as the 2.4's

I got mine 2 1\2 yeas ago and I was so impressed I bought another one!

If you must get a 2.4 try to get one with the modifed head.

I would recommend the auto (but then again I'm lazy) then sit back and look like there is a coat hanger in your mouth

I've had my 3rd gen 3ltr for exactly a week today. F*&kin love it.

On the first day it arrived, a chap driving down our road in a Surf stopped, just for a chat and nosey, as he hadnt seen it parked on my drive before and he was doing some work at a gaff up the road. Seen him about a bit now. Great chap, got a few tips from him about the Surf, had a chat and there you go. You dont get that with a Civic!

Ignore the 3rd gen hairdresser comments. The hairdryer comes in handy to dry the seats when the door seals leak...

Not sure if it is a member here or not, but it was his blue surf that got me going on the idea of Surfs. Then my wife stopped me getting a 2nd gen, because the one we went to see had curtains in the back of it. 3rd gen it was from then on for me. Its great tho. I have to admit to now owning a bottle of T Cut tho.
