Last time I saw somink like that it ran on Parrafin mix, Marine diesel and/or bottled LPG !!!

I was in Chopok, Slovakia in March this year and I saw dozens of those trucks and various other Soviet vehicles just lying around getting old.
I think there is a giant graveyard for them near Poprad.

BTW it's 50p for a pint in slovakia so the trucks will be cheap too.

superb piece of kit, self deflating/inflating tyres (a la hummer) huge, nay dominating view on the road.

They are a V8 petrol multi fuel truck. As long as it's got more than 50% petrol it will run. I've been chatting to a mate of mine who has a M109A3 and he says he can get 2000lts of contam a week (petrol/diesel mix) for FREE.

I was looking at an M35A2 or M109A2/3 but these are diesel multifuel and have problems running contam over long periods, but with a petrol multifuel this doesn't happen.

The truck advertised also comes tax and mot exempt and will cost about £90 fully comp a year to insure. I've emailed the guy and he said this truck comes with an eberspatcher rear compartment diesel heater (that's the thing on the top of the cab) and it also comes with a 12KVA generator. If I can just sell my Land Rover I will buy it tomorrow.

have you heard of the name TATRA ?
they are the most ugliest things ive ever seen, but i admire them. rear engine air-cooled V8s, you can start either inside or outside with the cranking handle. there is a heater inside done by fuel burning.
they arnt russian though, i think they are chek or something. very nice inside i thought.
