Damn midgies!!

Was time to fill up so got the veg oil out and started to fill and then the wind dropped...... and the midgies rose! What a swarm, I was eaten alive.

Got grilled by a passer-by on the oil too, "You'll knacker it, guaranteed!!!" Didn't believe me when I told him its done no harm for last 5000km!

The wee beasties started on 2nd of the month they have been gettin earlier.

This past 8 years I kept count and they have dropped round my neck of woods from 28th of May to 2nd.

Now they are just in clouds so thick they could choke you.

Can't complain though if it wasn't fur the midgies I'd be in the middle of a town!

Light some joss-sticks and stick them in your ears when you go outside, that'll keep them away.
