I'm gonna go out and buy 'Ten' (by the aformentioned PJ) soon, and perhaps dig in to a bit of 'Jane's Addiction' on the recommendation of Anthony Kiedis (just reading his bio)

Anyone got any recommendations for post '85 rock for me to listen to? Dont bother with the likes of the Foo's, already a big fan, but other, more obscure bands would be of interest.

Well, one more boogie round the suite and it's time for a shower and breakfast ... <sings> I... I... Ohhhh oHHHH I'm still alive!!!!

Done Soundgarden, but dont really get on with Chris' voice.

Know the others, except having only heard bits of Audioslave and liking what I've heard. Maybe on my next visit to the record shop...

Isn't that Vince you're agreeing with?

I dont necessarily disagree, but I've heard them all a million times and wanted recommendations for something fresher.

Gotta go to work now, and Eglin AFB is a 3/4 hour drive from here which should give me time to take in the whole of '10'.

Anything by Disturbed or Offspring gets turned up loud. Blown one of my speakers at the front doing that though. Muse rock too, in fact anything that isn't R&B and garage or stuff heard in chav cars

Try the band "Juliette and the licks" with the tune "You're speaking my language"

She's the actress Juliette Lewis of Natural Born killers fame (amongst others) and it surprisingly kicks some serious rock a*s.
