  • Best rockin tune!

Forget all of the rock dinosaurs, they have their place but not in this thread!

Have just put on 'Alive' by Pearl Jam to wake me up and jar me out of this 'hotel funk' I seem to be getting into and ended up air-guitaring my way around the room

I'm gonna go out and buy 'Ten' (by the aformentioned PJ) soon, and perhaps dig in to a bit of 'Jane's Addiction' on the recommendation of Anthony Kiedis (just reading his bio)

Anyone got any recommendations for post '85 rock for me to listen to? Dont bother with the likes of the Foo's, already a big fan, but other, more obscure bands would be of interest.

Well, one more boogie round the suite and it's time for a shower and breakfast ... <sings> I... I... Ohhhh oHHHH I'm still alive!!!!

Woodzie, I think my lad is into them. Are they beloved of the goth / emo community or am I thinking of someone else?

and after the program on Hendrix last night I'm pleased to be one.

Star spangled banner live at woodstock still makes the hair (wots left of it)on the back of me neck stand up.

                            Black Crowes

Try The Black Crowes. Especially the album By Your Side, which is rather good.

this month, I will mostly be listening to, Blind Guardian Live.

ah, I remember a party way back, head banging to Pearl Jams Alive, and Boney Ms Rasputin. all in all a very sore neck the next day.

Got Pearl Jam - Ten and Janes Addiction - Ritual De Lo Habitual, and Nothing's Shocking.

Think I'm gonna like J A, good funky groove a bit like the Chili's.
