Just looked at 'Ultra' but they seem to be all North East Wales which is a good hour at least from Black Rock. I reckon it's got to be worth looking into the area around the Rhinogs and Moelfre. There was an old drovers track which ran at least from inland from Harlech over the back of Moelfre out towards Barmouth (I rode it on mountainbike many times) but I dont know what classification it is.

There's nothing in the rules to say you can only be nominated once though. (Trev's now rushing off to change the rules).

Woodzie, exempting his own vehicle, has killed a head, two turbos and various other parts I can't remember offhand.

Andy has managed what? A bash plate, and ironically, Woodzie's brakes.

PY is still winning on fatalities from what I can remember.

Ah, but that would assume that there is a one nomination per week rule, which would, therefore, suggest we were viable candidates for nomination. However...................., as there is no one nomination per week rule, that merely means we were suggesting that you should be nominated, irrespective of whether you already had an embarrassingly high number of nominations or not.

Thats a fair length run offroad though. In what way was the scenery poor because by road it's quite nice particularly when you reach the Mawddach estuary and the views of Cader Idris. Has anyone on here done that route? It would be ideal in terms of where you'd end up though wouldn't it?

Camp in Bala, do the run next day, drive Barmouth to Porthmadog by road (~1/2 hour) set up camp and barbie on the beach.
