am i the only one????????
since posting on this thread my domain has been inundated with return mail as some ******** has sent a load of spam using my mail address as the return, so far up to this morning over 3000 mails making my emails unworkable, yes I do have a 'catchall' a/c and that will be changed tomorrow but just as a warning to all, if you have a catchall on your domain, change it I am learning the hard way - mails are coming in faster than I can delete them
I may have to do a block delete so deleting genuine mails as well.
This does seem like one hell of a coincidence! I just hope I can salvage my domain and my business use from all this mess

E-mail addresses aren't included in the posts, so can't be parsed as such. Someone would have to be doing it manually from the profiles if it was gained from the forum.

It's a convoluted thing to explain, but a MTA reference may give you a better insight of what I mean. If you look at the documentation on spoofing, recipient validation and backscatter, that will give you a more indepth idea of the types of problem you are trying to cure, and what to prevent yourself from causing in the process.
