just bought this




1995 Gen 2 3L Auto SSR-X, 66,000 miles, Cat 1 toad alarm, new CD player being fitted, cam Belt, 6 months warranty......4K.....ok price ?

Not that it matters now

don't think it lifted but its on 16's

Got to be SVA'd and reg first, before I can pick it up

SWMBO loves it so thats ok,

I'm normally a Land Rover man (www.winchchallenge.co.uk) looked a a newer Disco....but this one had no rust

Just ordered a transmission cooler to tow the 1600 kg Pikey van just to be on the safe side, I'll do a fluid change acrooss everything...anything else I need to do ?

Will I regret it in the morning !

It's only shiney because I ain't got hold of it yet

My "poof" truck was built by me, the Bumper was a S$$$$iron Racing one, cut in half and a few adjustments made

No SVA.....Whoooo......Had to do that for the Hybrid and what a pain in the that was

I'll agree with the colour part, however he might well become a member of the "keep your surf shiny" club I'll be joining myself......

...... once my surf is cleaned!

You need lots of lights on the front (like mine), and if you haven't gone one already then a blue star in the windscreen (and on your profile) you can get them by sending Koi a tenner!!!!

Those wheels look like CV928's which are on my wifes 2.4, seem difficult to get hold of though (so don't bend them!)

If your going to change the coolant it's worth noting the jap red stuff does not mix with the european green/blue stuff, it turns it into a nice sludge, which does nothing for the cooling.

check the warrenty for cover for cracked heads, some of the 3.0ltr have had problems cracking heads (including mine, but not a many as the early 2.4's)
