  • Cargo Liner Options

Dull question, newbie an all that....Promise to keep these to a minimum to avoid ridicule more than anything...

A 3rdG '97 Surf import, same boot shape internally as a 4Runner of same year?
Looks the same in web pictures, but before I pay out hard earned on a rubber boot liner, thought I would ask first!

Roughtraxx out of stock and they are not sure of availability at the moment.

Anyone used the 4 runner cargo liner at all? I was checking out Weathertech as an option.

    Any help much appreciated.

Best go to Halfrauds and buy a Cannon universal bootliner .

On my last 3rd Gen I lined the boot with some heavy duty stable matting...Found a local company that sold it for £20 a sheet...cut it to size and had enough left over for some front matts too.

Check it out the pics at the bottom of the page http://www.maninhat.myzen.co.uk/surf-mods.htm

Try a Hippo bag from B&Q or similar - the 1 cu.yd type fits in the back with the seats up, the 1.5 cu. yd fits with the seats down...

Works for me - cost about £8 IIRC

Hey Mike, just been browsing your site and have to say the photo's are excellent (the bluebells shots look unreal - fantanstic) and the greeting cards are stunning - nice work

Hi Big Louie, I also have a 3rd gen, I got the boot liner from Roughtrax as recommended by guys on here - it really is a fantastic fit, it goes up wheel arches and has high edges front and back - so any spills are contained. I would really recommend you wait for new stock to arrive.
                  Hope that helps, babooshka

Thanks Babooshka. No ETA from Barry at Roughtrax so I was investigating other options. It seems that Weathertech do the same sort of cargo liner. But I dont know for sure if it will fit. Certainly looks a close match, but....

It does look similar - how much would the shipping be? - Have you tried posting on Parts Wanted? maybe somebody might not need theirs anymore?
But probably would have already replied to thread...ignore me
