  • Lc springs & diff spacers

Hi all had a great day out with you all on the plains, but it showed up a problem with the rear of the surf.
rear spring are the milner surf uprated ones, but they cannot handle the weight of kit i carry around, thinking of going to milner LC spring with Vinces kit. will this be better
where can i get a diff lowering spacers from, plus ball joint spacers

I've been running LC springs for a year now without diff drop or ball joint spacers. Works fine. Might be tempted to put uprated torsion bars on some time as winding the front up has left it a bit bouncy (though I do still have original shocks on the front).

Tony N has seen the front UJs fairly recently and they aren't showing increased wear so it's not so high as to kill them off.

Do ball joint spacers enable you to lift the front further with standard torsion bars? It would have to be done with diff drop at the same time though wouldn't it so you dont thrash the front shafts?

              can i ask,

do ball joint spacers and diff spacer take any strain off the cv joints?

i have up-rated torsion bars and +2" shocks on front, the thing is, i seem to be eating cv boots.

              would either of these help?

are there any tougher cv boots available?

sorry didnt meen ti hijack the tread, i was just wondering.

              thanks again

              cheers scotty

the diff spacers will take out the steeper angle from the drive shaft.so should take the strain out of the drive shaft/boot
