Just wondering if anyone is from the Reading (ish) area or might know where I might be able to take my surf to get it muddy (proper muddy!!)

I live in Didcot. If you buy the Ordanace Survey maps "Explorer 158 and 170" this will give you LOTS of green lanes that you can use. However, the Ridgeway is closed to vehicular traffic all year apart from a few sections (details on the Ridgeway website)

Thanks for that, I'm in Winnersh just East of Reading...got some mates with Surfs in Swindon so Aldermarston is quite a nice half way point to meet up(for me anyway)
