    I live in Didcot. If you buy the Ordanace Survey maps "Explorer 158 and 170" this will give you LOTS of green lanes that you can use. However, the Ridgeway is closed to vehicular traffic all year apart from a few sections (details on the Ridgeway website)

        it's about half way up the hill heading from Aldermaston village to Tadley.


        i'm usually up there but my mates car set on fire last time so there's a lot of fixing going on!!

            Thanks for that, I'm in Winnersh just East of Reading...got some mates with Surfs in Swindon so Aldermarston is quite a nice half way point to meet up(for me anyway)
