hi all,
I changed all wheel bearings on the front of my truck on sunday as when i was driven there was a weird vibrating sound as if tracking was out, i gave both front wheels a tug and there was some play but more on the drivers side. So i thought wot the hell will do them both. well they where done but i noticed on the passengers side there is some sort of guard with a rubber seal that seem to meet where inner bearing ceil will be, well it has a tear in it and there was a strange screeching sound from that side, could that have been it and is it something i should look at getting replaced .Also could changing the bearing knock my tracking out ? ty for all info
