well i managed to remove all the Graphics i wanted to remove eventually( left our mate Apache<s wifes website)
(and with out the help of god it seems, UDTREV cant get done twice for same crime )
and then i proceeded to wash and Pol,pol,pol POLISH (said it) the truck does look nice but too clean.
My Reason to clean (the bonnet anyway) was to make way for a new Graphic to be fitted soon.
and i just got carried away with the bally polish (easier to say second time)

i used a hot air blower to get mine off then ...wait for it... a bit of brake and clutch cleaner to get the residue off and straight after i po..pol..buffed it up with a high gloss paint treatment compound

There's much less strenuous ways of damaging the paint, rotary sander comes to mind

ill be honest and say it didnt mark or damage the paint at all.. i used wynns brake and clutch cleaner...i cant say for sure it will be ok on yours, it depends what condition the top laquer is in i suppose.. i gave it a good t cut n polish after cos the problem was where the graphics had been the paint was just a little different where the sun hadnt got to it! id try a small area first just in case mate!i put a dab on a bit of cloth and gently worked it in. ill probably be flamed and and called a mental case for saying i used it !! they do a sticker residue remover in bettaware catalogue i believe which might be better!!
