    hi there i ordered a pair of fan belts from roughtrax they came today but the only thing is they have teech on the new ones the old ones were smooth have they sent me the wrong ones or does it not matter

    As long as they're v-belts and the right size, it shouldn't matter. By toothed, do you mean those little depressions on the lower edge, like castellations?

                      Dont take any notice of me mick, i'm in one of those moods, could'nt find any injured animals to poke,

                      If the belts are the same size they'll be OK, just different manufactures,

                        You've already had the answer. If it's a v-belt, they are flex grooves, not teeth. Flat belts are toothed, v-belts are not.
