well had to get a jeep cherokee when the land cruiser blew and what a nightmare everything is over priced and an absoloute pig to work on
then a mate has offered me a 2.4td manual surf for a grand so it will be mine by the end of the week
at last a decent 4x4 will put some picks on asp

I still have one for my sins.. got the 4ltr LGP'd but its been sat on the drive for almost 12 months unused.. ebay is callling its name I think.

Had the head gone on the LC then? Last thing I noticed was when you'd done the rad cap and 'stat and were crossing your fingers. You gonna' adapt your bumper to fit the Surf?

the land cruiser went with style head gaskit and cracked block christmas eve
so I bought the jeep (2.5td n reg) for 500 quid fair bit had been spent on engine new rad fuel tank ect but the first thing was a thermostat 37 quid
now it requires top and bottom ball joint kit 150+ quid and the solinoid on the starter has gone so did the right thing bought a surf
