I never understood the 'grin factor' I heard relating to surfs on the forum...until today!

Welcome to the club. No-one understands the grin factor until it happens. And the big silly grin don't happen until one gets in a Surf. (You're cheeks will ache like nobody's business after a while).

I thought 'overdrive' sounded like something that would consume more fuel, so I wouldn't turn it on. Glad I asked! Think i'll whack that hard suspension button, too!

For those that want to know, it's a K reg (93, 2nd gen) 2.4td (economy in mind over 3ltr -got all the pull I want though!), automatic, metallic blue, SSR-G. It's had the windows tinted too which I really like, and has the recarro (that how you spell it) seats. I'M LIKING IT. I'll get CD player in to patch up interior and take some pics -you can give me a verdict!

Despite being a student with a wife and two kids, and the less than friendly fuel economy, I just keep wanting to drive around. It doesn't have a radio at the moment, but still it's a joy. Gotta sort out music though. If I get a single din stereo, are there little cubby holes for the other din sized hole that I can get hold of?
