seatbelt man!!

that little red man with the belt on has decided to come on me dash wether i am wearing a belt or not,any ideas why.

First place I'd check is under your seat, there is a switch built into the seatbelt reciever, perhaps the wires exiting this have become broken ?

My dash actually has two of em in it, but I've no idea which one is meant to work as neither have even lit up, not that it would matter to me one way or the other, I've always had one simple rule in the car, everybody belts up, no exceptions front and rear before I move off.
