copy was right !! and they are thoroughbreds of the sky !! they were used in two world wars, and saved many lives,an any way, its a great feeling watching them come home when they have just flown 500 miles, and 12 hours on the wing, but the best bit is when they $$$$ on nextdoors washing,

Nice one. A lot of the guys I drink with on a Friday night are pigeon fanciers (please no dubious quips). Members of Durham I think. Not too bad drinking with them during the winter but during racing season I normally come home covered in feathers and pigeon sh!t as it's all they talk about.
