Call from Woodzie,

Lovely Boy led the group round a welsh forest & got lost. After finding them for second time an elderley gentleman in a Vauxhall Astra rescued them and led them out of the forest.

Methinks Lovely Boyo is out to win this hands down

That's coz I've already won it - none of you will be able to compete with my stupidity of yesterday.

So, all the stuff I've learned over the last 4 years (and totally ignored yesterday):-

1. Never off road alone.
2. Always take correct rescue equipment (hi lift jack, boards, winch, ground anchor etc).
3. Always walk the route if unsure.
4. Never drive into a bog on road tyres when your 33'' Macho muds are in your back garden.
5. Observe clues i.e. sudden lack of tracks ahead
6. etc etc

Can you see where this is going, eh, can you????








I've also got a video (poor quality though) of the huge tractor I had to pay to drag me out.

You know the old saying - If you ain't got stuck you're not trying hard enough! (Or is it - if you take these risks you're an idiot????)

Done it myself in a Rangerover but sank if to the tops of the doors.. (not the top of the glass) It took another RR and a LR together to pull me out. Lost my gear box trying my hardest trying to "rock" it out of the mess, which just made it worse.
