It's all thanks to a top bloke in Reading called Mark who wanted to swap sumps with me for just the postage costs and Nigel's perseverance at LA Supertrux.

Hi James - 1UZ in a Surf - gorgeous. Looking nice and low too.
Have you figured out what exhaust headers you're fitting?
Also, I noticed on Yotatech (I think Cebby's build up) that there is an upgrade available for the waterpump (which apprears to be the engines only iffy bit). The plastic vanes are replaced by a beefier aluminium unit.

Keep posting pics of the build up. Awesome.
Unfortunately due to money I'm leaving the water pump as is; the work on the transmission cost a lot more than I planned for.
I did have the starter and alternator taken off and thoroughly serviced as they'll be difficult to get to once it's in properly. I think it's just going to be a timing belt and spark plugs swap now and I'll leave it at that.
The headers and exhaust system will be a full custom job by the bloke that does Nigel's monster truck.
