Bearing reduces Smoke at ebay ?

Heard of an EGR blocking but how would this bearing help to reduce smoke.

the same way as pulling the egr pipe off ,bending it over and tieing it off with a cable tie and £3 cheaper.Do a search for egr mod and you will find a diagram of what to do

yup EGR recipe already tried. So the ball bearing formula is the same with different topping Thanks

Also heard that lesser smoke means that the engine is being fed with lesser amount of fuel than required and vice versa. is it true?
