  • removing stickers??

I'm looking for a little help please.

I have a couple of old stickers on my windows and would like to remove them. I've tried to peel them but they come away in tiny bits.

Can anyone suggest a better way or a solvent that would break the glue down.

    cheers,

I removed my old screen tint with very hot water (just off boiling) it melted the glue on the back. Be careful not to burn your hands. Then used a paint brush cleaner to remove any left over glue.

A hair drier normally does the trick (if you had a 3rd gen there would be one in the glovebox!)

best thing i have found to remove them is a glass s$$$$er to take the sticker off then some acetone(nail vanish remover) to remove the glue

WD40 is good for removing left over sticky, spray on and rub with rag and keep giving it generous sprays and it comes off easy.
              Wax on, wax off

Think I'mgGoing to try the hairdryer first. Would a paint stripper gun do just as good or would it be too hot?

Got my hands on a plastic s$$$$per which will help. Might be able to get some adhesive solvent from a mate as well.

                  Cheers,

People say, "It's because you're grown up now and have bigger hands"

Bo**ocks, it's a conspiracy. We're being 'stiffed' by confectioners, paying more for less!
