    Newbie Surf owner!!

Whats the service intervals on a 2.4td surf?

ALso when is it acceptable without breaking anything to use 4wd. I won't be getting it dirty off road but would like to engage it now again when the weathers bad etc.....

Some advise please..........then maybe I might go get her dirty some time..

    Cheers

hi winnybob, DO a search on the forum just type in
SERVICING and go for it there is a thread there posted by tonyn which is good.

do the same for using 4WD, but dont engage it on dry roads buddy.
go to an off-road centre near you or check with your local council on
green lanes open in your area for the 4wd to be put to good use.
i am fairly new to 4wd myself but highly recommend the off road days, which the guys/gals here use, its a good way to get yourself into the world of off-roading. with friendly advise and tips from the gang.

GO FOR IT I SAY and see what you and your surf can realy do!!!

          For 4wd look here
          http://www.yotasurf.co.uk/Forums/sho...ht=wheel+drive
          its in the FAQ section.
Servicing is recommended oils changes at 5000km (3000 miles) then oil filter every 10000km (6000 miles) but would recommend you change the filter every time you do an oil change, for the sake of a couple quid its better to change both.
