  • Anti social driving

Just reading a BBC report about anti social driving and came across this worrying passage:

"Under the Antisocial Behaviour (Scotland) Act 2004, officers can seize and remove motor vehicles which have been used in a manner causing alarm, distress or annoyance to members of the public.

These powers apply where a person's driving is considered to have been careless or if the vehicle has been driven off road.

    Thats not too good.

There are 10 kind of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't.

Yep, some whiner down your road can report you for driving in a manner that does not suit him and have you prosecuted.

This will keep on until people stop voting the Socialists in.

That is the law here, and they can. If you're caught off the byways and doing donuts on fields or driving on bridleways or footpaths to many times its bye bye truck, and fully deserved if you ask me.

It's the same law they use to impound bikes/quads/minimotos etc being driven round parks and commons, very similar laws throughout the UK, and probably europe.

We need to be careful with all this banning. What happened to a bit of tolerance? There's serious stuff to be concerned with, rather than trying to infringe on our liberties at every opportunity. It's all about controlling us.

If we were to ban everything that someone was offended by, none of us would be able to do anything. If people look hard enough they will find something to be offended with.

Never being one to offend anyone, I find it's easier to conform and be nice at all times, keep your opinions to yourself and dont try to impose even when you know you are right.

Be nice, be quiet, listen & learn!

                          Is that OK Mr Avegotanotherdinnerjacket.
