        They are in parallel so 12v system, but the n/s battery is the one connected to the starter, the o/s is linked to the n/s so I always tend to jump start on the n/s battery as it has less cable run to the battery
        If it aint broke dont fix it

          but if they are in series does it not start of only one and the other is a lesuire battery? I know mine are in parallel so can jump of either (i think parallel is the standard)

            If they were in series it would be a 24v system
            If it aint broke dont fix it

              cheers guys ! av sorted it, put the caravan battery on the paseger side an she stated first time , think i left the lights on when fitting the meters,or i could have a short down to ground, hope not ,
